About the Role
Step into a pivotal role within an award-winning in-house legal team. Based in Auckland CBD, you will partner closely with executive leaders to deliver strategic legal advice. This role offers a guaranteed pathway to senior counsel status through clear, achievable development goals.

You will manage a diverse portfolio of premium commercial work that remains entirely in-house. This includes driving end-to-end M&A transactions, complex renegotiations, and major distribution agreements without relying on external providers.
- Draft and negotiate key commercial contracts.
- Execute complex M&A and digital initiatives.
- Mentor and support junior legal team members.
We are seeking a commercially astute lawyer with a growth mindset. You must hold or be eligible for a New Zealand Law Society practising certificate. The ideal candidate will blend technical excellence with strong interpersonal skills to manage risk effectively.
- 4 years PQE in a reputable firm.
- Strong background in general commercial law.
- Exceptional communication and drafting skills.
