Our mission is to give effect to the status of te reo Māori as an official language, to promote te reo Māori as an ordinary means of communication and as a living language, and to lead the coordination of implementing Te Maihi Karauna (Crown Māori Language Strategy).
Te Tūranga | About the role
Fixed Term opportunity until December 2026.
The Language Planning Advisor provides support to agencies, assisting in developing their language plans by:
· promoting engagement and providing advice across those agencies
· assisting in the development of tools and resources
Te Kaitono | About you
We are looking for someone who is a networker and great with relationship management.
You will have experience in:
· customer/relationship management
· presenting and public speaking
· sales/marketing type roles
Most importantly you will bring hype crew energy, initiative and drive to support te reo Māori in the public service.
