Interpath is seeking a highly motivated Manager for our Financial Services Transaction Services team in London. This role presents an exciting opportunity to engage with a diverse portfolio of Financial Services clients, such as banks, non-bank lenders, fintechs, asset managers, insurance brokers and others. The team has ambitions to grow rapidly and extend coverage to an even broader array of sub-sectors. As a Manager, you will have the opportunity to work on complex engagements, develop client relationships, and collaborate closely with industry leaders in a dynamic and entrepreneurial Deal Advisory practice.

Your responsibilities will encompass the full spectrum of the transaction lifecycle, managing both buy-side and sell-side assignments. You will play a pivotal role in delivering successful transactions by collaborating with our Corporate Finance, Debt Advisory and other DD specialists across the Interpath network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and delivery of Financial Due Diligence (FDD), Vendor Due Diligence (VDD) and Vendor Assist reports.
  • Evaluate Quality of Earnings to identify extraordinary income and costs that impact underlying earnings.
  • Analyse and benchmark Net Working Capital (NWC) based on historical trends.
  • Identify debt-like items through an in-depth review of balance sheets and off-balance-sheet arrangements.
  • Critically assess target forecasts, highlighting key risks and opportunities.
  • Lead client meetings and act as the primary contact for due diligence engagements.
  • Support business development initiatives and contribute to the continued growth of our Financial Services sector practice.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • At least 3 years' experience in Transaction Services or another relevant field.
  • Experience working on transactions within the Financial Services sector is essential.
  • Chartered Accountancy, or other similar professional qualification, preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit and strong team orientation.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with a proven record of managing senior client relationships.
  • Experience supporting business development and originating opportunities is advantageous but not mandatory.
