Social Media & Influencer Executive
About the role
You'll be the engine behind COAT's content generation, social and influencer activity - the person who makes things happen on time, to brief and to a high standard. You'll report into the Social & Influencer Manager, working closely with the wider Marketing team, and take ownership of the day-to-day delivery across gifting, scheduling, community, trade content, and reporting. You'll have a couple of years of experience and be comfortable managing multiple workstreams at once.
What you'll do:
Social
- Schedule, upload and publish organic social content across all social channels (primary channel Instagram)
- Manage day-to-day community engagement, including owning the engagement automation tool
- Source trade project imagery and content, obtain T&Cs from contributors
- Assess trade and partner content for suitability across channels
- Stay tapped in to social listening, platform trends and emerging formats, bringing relevant opportunities to the team
- Proactively monitor COAT's tags across platforms, assessing whether user-generated content can be repurposed or used
- Propose process improvements to streamline workflows and increase efficiency
- Produce monthly reports on social and influencer performance
Content Generation, Influencer & Gifting
- Own gifted creator outreach end to end - sourcing, contacting, logistics, follow-up
- Manage gifted creator relationships once partnerships are established
- Build and maintain creator lists and sourcing pipelines
- Track content deliverables and chase where needed
- Source paid sponsorship content opportunities and flag to the Social & Influencer Manager
- Support the Social & Influencer Manager on influencer and creator events, assisting with logistics and on-the-ground delivery
- Obtain usage rights permissions on approved sponsorship content
- Support the Social & Influencer Manager on content generation for paid channels
- Upload and maintain content to COAT's internal content library, keeping assets organised and up to date
Essential:
- 2+ years' experience in a social media, influencer marketing or content role, ideally within a lifestyle, home or design-adjacent brand
- Experience managing organic social scheduling and publishing, with Instagram as a primary channel
- Experience running gifted or influencer outreach end to end, including relationship management and deliverable tracking
- Confident using social scheduling and community management tools
- Comfortable working with platform-native analytics, pulling together clear and actionable reporting
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines at once
- Strong written communication, adaptable across creator outreach, community replies and internal reporting
- Personable, yet deliberate - able to build relationships with creators and partners, and move them forward with pace and purpose
- An appreciation and respect for brand standards and brand image, when managing social and influencer content.
- Highly focused and organised, with the ability to see through noise and towards the bigger picture
- A self-starter who takes ownership rather than waiting to be told
Desirable:
- Experience within a D2C, interiors, fashion, design or sustainability-led brand. If it's a premium brand, even better.
- Familiarity with TikTok and/or Pinterest, in addition to Instagram
- Experience sourcing or coordinating UGC, trade or partner content, including handling usage rights
- Basic understanding of content rights, permissions and sponsorship disclosure requirements
- Experience supporting influencer or creator events
- A genuine interest in social platforms, trends and emerging formats
