Adult Social Care Service

West Midlands Competitive Day Rate (£350 per day) 3-Month Interim Contract Full-Time | Monday to Friday Immediate Start Available

An Opportunity to Lead Meaningful Improvement

Delphi Care Solutions is seeking an experienced Interim Turnaround Manager to support an adult social care provider in the West Midlands.

This assignment offers an opportunity to lead a focused quality improvement programme within an established care service requiring strong operational leadership, regulatory oversight, and support in embedding sustainable improvements.

Working alongside Delphi's Quality and Compliance Team, the successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening governance, improving care standards, and supporting the service's improvement journey.

The Role

The Interim Turnaround Manager will undertake a comprehensive assessment of the service before leading the implementation of a structured improvement programme.

You will work closely with senior leaders and frontline teams to strengthen compliance, improve quality outcomes, and ensure improvements are understood, embedded, and sustained.

This is a highly visible leadership role requiring an experienced manager who can quickly build credibility, identify priorities, and drive positive change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct a full operational and quality review of the service.
  • Support the delivery of a structured improvement plan.
  • Prioritise and address areas of risk and non-compliance.
  • Strengthen governance, auditing, and quality assurance processes.
  • Support managers and staff to implement and sustain improvements.
  • Monitor progress against agreed objectives and key performance indicators.
  • Promote a positive culture focused on quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Prepare the service for future regulatory scrutiny.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve improved outcomes.

Essential Experience

  • Previous experience as an Interim Manager, Turnaround Manager, Registered Manager, Home Manager, or Regional Manager.
  • Strong track record of supporting service improvement within adult social care.
  • Experience managing services through regulatory challenges and improvement programmes.
  • Excellent knowledge of governance, safeguarding, quality assurance, and compliance.
  • Ability to lead teams through periods of change and transformation.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an experienced operational leader who thrives in improvement-focused environments and can quickly identify priorities, provide direction, and deliver measurable results.

You will be confident working independently, supporting teams through change, and driving improvements that positively impact service quality and outcomes.
