SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

As an Associate Digital Strategist/Consultant at MSQ DX, you will support clients in navigating the rapidly evolving digital landscape to achieve measurable business outcomes. Working closely with senior consultants and client teams, you will help identify opportunities where MSQ DX can deliver meaningful digital impact across customer experience, technology and transformation initiatives. You will support teams and existing clients to identify where MSQ DX can best help clients realise their digital ambitions. You will support in developing digital transformation initiatives by analysing business processes and understanding technology-driven strategies.

You will contribute to both new business opportunities and existing client engagements, supporting the development of digital strategies, transformation roadmaps and experience-led solutions. This includes conducting research, analysing market and customer insights, and helping shape technology and digital experience recommendations. The role offers exposure to a wide range of disciplines including MarTech, customer experience, digital strategy, AI and digital transformation, and requires collaboration with strategists, designers, technologists and client stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will bring 1–3 years of experience in a digital agency, consultancy, or digital transformation environment, strong analytical and communication skills, and a passion for understanding how technology can improve customer experience and business performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You will be supporting the Strategic Lead on setting strategies for winning and growing accounts, working alongside client account and new business teams.
  • Support in advising new and existing clients on trends in MarTech, including appropriate CRM, CMS, CDP, design solutions and AI capabilities to meet strategic business objectives.
  • Use your strong interpersonal skills to design effective strategy workshops customised for different client stakeholders.
  • Support digital-first creative ideas, and shaping these with the UX and Design Team (some basic digital design literacy is preferred with tools such as Figma)
  • Undertake independent research to contribute to opportunity responses and proactive client growth - such as competitor analysis, market and customer research.
  • Help clients manage stakeholders, build internal consensus, identify opportunities, form business cases, justify investment, prove returns, design governance structures, define operating models.
  • Continually feed and extend your own expertise in modern digital experience capabilities.
  • Be generous with your insight and expertise to help clients to advance their own understanding and capability - so they trust and come back to you/MSQ DX, repeatedly, to volunteer their challenges.
  • Be a window into the clients strategic priorities, sharing everything you learn about the clients, generously and frequently.
  • Support and collaborate with other agencies, partners and suppliers to the client, to serve the clients’ interests first
  • Identify emerging capabilities that the client needs that stretch or are adjacent to our own, but necessary to fulfil our core propositions, and engage the discipline leaders at MSQ DX so they can marshal the capabilities and resources we’ll need to meet these needs.
  • You will work collaboratively across our office and client sites for at least 2 days a week with some UK and overseas travel, dictated by client demand.

From time to time, you may be required to carry out additional duties to meet the needs of the business, for example carrying out mandatory training or tasks assigned by your manager.
