Sales Enablement Specialist
Come shape the future of education with us.
At Compass, we're on a mission to transform the school day for everyone - from staff and students to families and administrators. We build smart, seamless technology that empowers schools to focus on what really matters: learning, growing and thriving.
That mission has fuelled our growth into a global scale-up, now supporting 5,000+ schools across three countries, backed by a team of 300+ people. Our all-in-one school management platform is redefining how education communities connect, communicate and operate.
We're now looking for a Sales Enablement Specialist to make sure every member of our go-to-market team walks into a conversation with schools prepared, confident and clear on the value Compass delivers.
About the Role
This role owns the playbooks, decks and talk tracks that turn our product story into deals won, and builds the systems that keep that knowledge current as the business scales.
It's a hands-on, end-to-end role for someone who thrives close to the action - partnering with Sales, Customer Success, Product and Marketing to identify what teams need, then building the resources and running the sessions that get everyone ready. It's an opportunity to shape the enablement function at a company scaling globally.
What You'll Do
Enablement Project Delivery
- Own enablement initiatives end-to-end, from brief through to rollout, adoption and continuous improvement, measuring what actually lands with the team.
- Design and deliver onboarding and ramp programs for new hires across Sales, SDR and Customer Success so people reach productivity faster and with less guesswork.
Collateral & Content Development
- Create and maintain the sales toolkit - playbooks, talk tracks, pitch decks, battlecards, objection-handling guides, FAQs, email templates and customer-facing education resources.
- Develop compelling messaging and resources that help the GTM team communicate Compass's value clearly across different audiences - independent, government and Catholic schools, and different buyer roles within them.
- Translate complex product, customer and market concepts into practical, usable resources that teams can confidently use in their day-to-day work.
GTM Readiness
- Partner with Product, Product Marketing and GTM leaders to prepare teams for new modules, product launches and strategic initiatives, so the field is ready on day one.
- Run enablement sessions, workshops and reinforcement that keep reps sharp on product knowledge, discovery and competitive positioning in the education market.
Enablement Infrastructure
- Establish simple metrics for what's working - content usage, ramp time, win rates, adoption - and use them to prioritise where enablement will have the most impact.
About You
This role is for someone who's genuinely committed to helping teams do their best work, and who's always looking for ways to make things simpler, clearer and more effective.
What we are looking for
- You have 3+ years of experience in enablement or a related GTM role, such as Customer Success, Account Management, Sales or Partnerships.
- You've owned projects end-to-end - not just contributed, but taken something from brief through to delivery and iteration.
- You care deeply about helping teams do their best work and are always looking for ways to make things simpler, clearer and more effective.
- You've worked cross-functionally and know how to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- You're a strong communicator and content creator - you can turn a messy brief into a resource people love using.
- You're comfortable using AI tools and excited about how they can scale your impact.
- You enjoy being close to the action, working across teams and helping bring new ideas to life.
Highly Regarded
- Experience selling into or working with schools, education, public sector or within an EdTech environment.
- Familiarity with a CRM (e.g. Zoho, Hubspot) and modern enablement or LMS tooling.
- Exposure to sales methodologies (MEDDIC, Challenger, SPIN or similar).
Why Join Compass
You'll join a purpose-driven company with the opportunity to shape how a scaling GTM team learns, ramps and wins - with real ownership and visible impact.
What we offer
- We come together with our unique strengths to work towards a common purpose - shaping the future of education. When you join our team, you will collaborate with individuals who are passionate, driven, and open to embracing change in a fast-paced environment.
- Hybrid working environment across the week from our Hawthorn office.
- Learning & Development opportunities & PD budget - we want you to grow and get the most out of your role!
- 24/7 access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) through the means of face-to-face, live chat and phone support.
- Access to our Parental Leave Program for both primary and secondary carers.
- A supportive, inclusive culture where you'll be valued and heard.
It is a really exciting time to join Compass. We are growing and are looking for ambitious individuals who want to grow alongside us.
Compass is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We embrace and celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
Prior to commencing employment, you’ll need:
- A valid Employee Working With Children Check
- A satisfactory National Police Check
- Verification of unrestricted work rights in Australia (e.g. citizenship, passport or birth certificate)
