Located within the vibrant Sylvia Park retail precinct in Auckland, this store is surrounded by major retailers, shopping, dining and everyday conveniences, creating a busy environment with strong customer activity. It’s easily accessible by car with ample parking available, and is exceptionally well connected by public transport, with Sylvia Park train station and bus services nearby. With a wide range of cafés, restaurants and food options throughout the centre, staff have plenty of choices for lunch and coffee breaks.

Roster– Friday 10:30am - 4:00pm | Sunday 10am - 4pm

About the Role

As a Retail Sales Assistant, you’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, fostering a positive shopping experience, and supporting new and expectant parents on their journey. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about helping others and thrives in a dynamic retail environment.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

Customer Engagement – Connect with and understand the needs of new and expectant parents, providing personalised assistance and product recommendations.

Product Demonstration – Guide customers through product features and benefits, ensuring they make informed choices.

Stock Management – Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure the store is well-presented and organised.

Flexible Scheduling – Work a rotating roster of flexible shifts across weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

About You

You’re a proactive and approachable individual who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment. You have a genuine passion for helping others and delivering exceptional customer service.

What you bring to the team:

✅ Prior Customer Service Experience.

✅ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

✅ High Standards in customer service and store presentation.

✅ Proficient in calming irate customers and resolving issues with empathy and professionalism.

✅Physical Requirements: Able to lift up to 15kgs between floor and shoulder, 10kgs above shoulder height. Ability to wear a headset to communicate with the team on the shop floor. Stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
