You'll provide high quality administrative and coordination support to our Safety, Health and Wellbeing (SHW) team, working closely with the National SHW Manager and wider team members to help keep our people safe, well and supported across the organisation.
This role would suit someone with strong administration or coordination experience who enjoys working across a busy but genuinely fun team who support each other as much as they get stuck in together. Ko tāu nā i tēnei tūranga - What you'll bring to the role:
We're looking for someone who thrives in a busy team and enjoys keeping things organised and on track. You'll bring strong financial and operational administration skills, excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability, along with great communication and listening skills. You'll be curious, adaptable and keen to learn, with the drive to get things done. The role will support the SHW team with planning and prioritising tasks, events and requirements, assist with financial and operational administration, coordinate national office inductions, meetings and workshops, and keep documentation and databases accurate and easy to access. To be successful in this role, we'd expect you will be: * Experience working in a busy, complex organisation * Strong financial and operational administration experience * Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing deadlines * A curious, adaptable mindset and willingness to learn and grow * Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills * Confident and professional written and verbal communication * Strong meeting, note-taking and minute-taking skills * Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite * A positive, can-do attitude with a focus and drive to succeed This is a Fixed Term Contract from – Aug 2026 – Dec 2026. The salary range for this role is - $61,106 - $67,895 (pro rata), dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role. Ko wai mātou - who are we?
