At Kiwibank we are working on strengthening our own and New Zealand’s financial system, ultimately making it an undesirable place for criminals to do business. An opportunity has arisen to join our AML EDD team here at Kiwibank and use your AML experience to help make Kiwi better off.

In this role you will:

  • Implement Kiwibank’s Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism policy.
  • Ensure compliance with the AML/CFT Act by providing operational support and guidance.
  • Investigate and research simple to complex high-risk onboarding situations and provide clear and accurate outcomes.
  • Review and interpret documentation relating to companies and trusts.

At Kiwibank, we will help you build on your strengths and develop new skills, but in the meantime, we would love to hear from you if you have some of the following skills and experience:

  • Experience in AML or a similar compliance role is preferred.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Strong attention to detail and enjoy investigative type work.
  • An understanding of AML CDD/EDD requirements.
  • Ability to understand and interpret the AML/CFT Act, regulator guidance and bank policy.
