About the Role
The CCDM Project Support Coordinator plays an important role in supporting the effective delivery of the Care Capacity Demand Management programme across our district. You will help ensure our CCDM tools, data, and processes are used consistently and accurately to support safe staffing, high-quality care, and the wellbeing of our nursing and midwifery workforce. This includes coordinating programme activities, supporting governance and workstreams, and ensuring high-quality CCDM data informs decision-making at all levels of the organisation.
Working in partnership with clinical, operational and union stakeholders, you will contribute to FTE and roster modelling, data analysis, variance response management, and continuous quality improvement. This role requires someone who can work confidently in complex environments, build strong relationships, and support services to embed CCDM as business as usual.
About the Team/Service/ Location
You’ll be part of the Care Capacity Demand Management (CCDM) team, a small, collaborative group working across Wellington Regional Hospital, Kenepuru Hospital, Ratonga Rua-o-Porirua, and Hutt Hospital. The team sits within the Integrated Operations Centre and partners closely with operational leaders, unions, and clinical teams district-wide.
About you
You’ll bring:
- Registration as a nurse or midwife, with post-graduate experience and credibility with clinical teams.
- Experience in coordination, education, quality improvement, or project support roles.
- Strong data literacy — confident analysing information, spotting trends, and translating insights into action.
- Skill in building relationships, facilitating groups, and supporting people through change.
- A flexible, solution-focused approach and confidence navigating busy, evolving environments.
- A commitment to partnership, equity, and embedding the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi in everyday practice.
