Essential:
- Advanced Python 3.x programming skills with deep numpy and pandas knowledge
- Strong software engineering background including object-oriented design and design patterns
- Comprehensive understanding of distributed systems architecture
- Deep knowledge of algorithms and data structures
- Proven ability to make sound technical decisions on solution design
- Capability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills

They are currently seeking a skilled Quant Developer to join their team in Krakow. This contract position offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of quantitative finance and software engineering, transforming complex models into production-ready systems.
Position Overview
As a Quant Developer, you'll bridge the gap between quantitative research and production systems. You'll be responsible for converting code from quantitative teams into reliable, scalable services whilst developing Python libraries that support financial modelling. This role requires close collaboration with quantitative modellers, IT teams and front office users to create solutions that deliver real business value across different functions within the organisation.
