Trade Marketing Lead
Lead and deliver dealer marketing and communications initiatives aligned with Kubota Australia's overall marketing and brand strategy to drive commercial performance, build dealer capability, and ensure consistent, compliant, and effective brand execution.
Kubota wholesale and provide aftersales support for quality, market leading equipment and machinery for agriculture, construction and power. We also support sales with consumer/ commercial financing. We retail to Kubota dealerships located in across Australia and New Zealand.
In your new role you will support our Australian marketing team and will:
· Act as a subject matter expert consultant/ coach and advisor to the dealer network to ensure the development, implementation/ execution/ activation, and monitoring of a broad range of local area marketing activity through the dealer channel to defined parameters and MROI
· Undertake, with broad direction or guidance, a range of marketing and brand building activity supporting dealers to enable marketing for optimal retail performance
· With oversight, take a lead role in the development, implementation and management of effective co-operative campaigns, ensuring compliance with policy/ procedure/ guidelines
· Lead the operational management and continuous improvement of, the dealer asset management system, ensuring data integrity and the timely maintenance, updating, and distribution of marketing and brand assets.
· Create and/or maintain and deliver training and capability uplift programs, such as but not limited to for brand compliance, marketing effectiveness and marketing for growth
· Represent Kubota at a range of industry or company events. Assist with organisation/ coordination (as required)
· You may lead moderate complexity projects, or participate in internal projects to broadly support or optimise marketing, sales, public relations, or communications
In order to apply you will need to be an Australian citizen/ resident or already have in place permanent and unrestricted right to work. A current drivers licence and satisfactory driving record is also required.
Your resume would likely include:
· Tertiary qualification Marketing/ similar with a Postgraduate (Masters) qualification in Marketing and/or Communications (preferred)
· Specialist level experience in a similar position. Experience gained in a B2B environment, ideally with exposure to agricultural/ construction industries
· Significant hands-on experience in traditional and digital marketing, public relations, brand management and communications
· Project coordination experience, including proven ability to manage campaigns, allocate tasks and responsibilities, and achieve required outcomes
· Highly developed influencing, interpersonal and relationship management skills including proven ability to consult/ coach/ advise
· Training facilitation expertise
· Developing business acumen and understanding of the challenges faced by small businesses/ dealers
· Well, developed conceptual, analytical and research skills
· Well-developed communication skill, including reporting writing and presentation skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office/ Google suite/s and Adobe software such as InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
