The Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Document Controller to manage and control project documentation across live projects. You will work closely with project teams to ensure all information is accurate, up to date and issued in line with project requirements.

This is a fully remote role, open to candidates based in Ireland or the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the receipt, upload, distribution and filing of all project documentation.
  • Maintain document control systems and registers across multiple projects.
  • Upload and manage documents on internal systems such as Procore and external client platforms including Asite and Aconex.
  • Track drawings, technical submittals and documents issued for review or approval.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with company and project-specific standards.
  • Coordinate document flow between internal teams, clients and subcontractors.
  • Issue and track RFIs and responses.
  • Download and distribute information from external client portals.
  • Support QA processes and maintain accurate document records.
  • Assist with O&M manuals and As-Built documentation.
  • Support project teams with the timely issue of site information.
  • Previous experience as a Document Controller, ideally within the construction or engineering sector.
  • Strong knowledge of document management systems such as Procore, Aconex or Asite.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Confident communicating with clients and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
  • Candidates must have the right to work in either Ireland or the UK.
