Bei The Better Cat revolutionieren wir den Tierfuttermarkt. 🐾 Wir sind ein VC-backed Startup (u. a. mit FoodLabs als Investor), das in wenigen Jahren zu einem der größten Katzenfutter-Unternehmen Deutschlands gewachsen ist und 2024 den Fressnapf Innovation Award gewonnen hat. Wir arbeiten für das größte und am schnellsten wachsende Segment im Tierfuttermarkt: Katzen.
Unser Shop ist der Ort, an dem sich unser gesamtes Wachstum entscheidet. Jeder Prozentpunkt Conversion, jeder Euro AOV und jedes zusätzliche Abo zahlt direkt auf unsere Unit Economics ein. Genau das ownst du – vom Produktseiten-Test bis zum Checkout-Funnel. Du entscheidest selbst über deine Roadmap und siehst den Effekt deiner Arbeit noch in derselben Woche in den Zahlen.
Aufgaben
- Shop-Ownership: Du ownst unseren Shopify-Store end-to-end – von PDP über Cart bis Checkout.
- Product Launches: Du bringst neue Produkte live – PDP, Bundles, Pricing-Darstellung, Content und Launch-Mechanik.
- CRM, Abo & Retention: Neben dem Shop ownst du unser komplettes CRM – E-Mail-Flows und Kampagnen, Abos sowie Churn und Winback.
- Tracking & Analytics: Du arbeitest täglich mit GA4, Shopify Analytics und unserem Attributions-Setup (Klar) und weißt, was wirklich gewirkt hat.
- AOV & Upsell-Architektur: Du ownst unsere Bundle-, Cart- und Post-Purchase-Funnels von der Offer-Logik bis zur Copy.
- CRO & Testing: Du führst A/B-Tests und Landingpage-Tests durch und triffst Entscheidungen auf Basis von Ergebnissen, nicht von Meinungen
Qualifikation
- Erfahrung: 3–4 Jahre in E-Commerce, CRO oder Shopify-Ownership – idealerweise bei einer D2C-Brand.
- Shopify-Tiefe: Du kennst den Theme-Editor, Metafelder, Varianten und Checkout in und auswendig und weißt, wo die Grenzen liegen.
- Tool-Stack: Du kennst diese oder vergleichbare Tools: Klaviyo, AfterSell, Loop Subscriptions, UpCart, ein Landingpage-Builder (z. B. Replo) und A/B-Testing-Tool (z. B. Intelligems, Shoplift).
- Zahlenfest: CVR, AOV, Deckungsbeitrag und Kohorten sind deine Sprache – du bist vertraut mit GA4 und anderen Attribution-Tools.
- KI-affin: Du arbeitest bereits täglich mit KI-Tools und siehst darin einen Hebel, keinen Trend.
- Technisch: Liquid, HTML und CSS sind ein Plus, aber kein Muss – wichtiger ist, dass du Dinge zum Laufen bringst.
- Bias to Action: Du gehst lieber heute live als nächste Woche perfekt.
- Du kommunizierst exzellent – auf Deutsch wie auf Englisch.
