As a Senior Risk Management Specialist, you will play a key role in strengthening and embedding effective risk practices across the business while supporting AIA’s commitment to responsible, sustainable growth. Working closely with the Head of Enterprise Risk Management Services, you will act as a trusted adviser to leaders and stakeholders at all levels, helping guide informed decision-making through insightful risk analysis and robust governance. This fixed-term opportunity offers the chance to influence strategic outcomes, foster a strong risk culture, and partner across diverse teams to drive continuous improvement, resilience, and customer-focused business success.

Your Impact

  • Lead the implementation and oversight of risk and control frameworks, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and Group standards.

  • Strengthen risk and conduct culture by building awareness, accountability, and confidence in risk management across the division.

  • Deliver clear, timely risk reporting and insights that support leadership discussions, governance activities, and informed decision-making.

  • Guide assurance and compliance activities, helping maintain effective controls and adherence to regulatory, legal, and internal obligations.

  • Partner with stakeholders on projects, change initiatives, new products, and incidents to identify risks, reduce exposures, and improve outcomes.

  • Champion continuous improvement by conducting targeted reviews and enhancing risk processes, efficiency, and organisational capability.

Your Capabilities

  • You have strong experience applying risk management frameworks, controls, and governance practices within complex business environments.

  • You bring the ability to analyse complex information, exercise sound judgement, and translate risk insights into practical recommendations.

  • You have a track record of building trusted relationships and influencing stakeholders, including senior leaders, to achieve positive risk outcomes.

  • You bring strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering high-quality reporting, assurance, and audit activities.

  • You have experience within financial services risk management and an understanding of insurance operations, business processes, and risk exposures.

  • You may also have a relevant tertiary qualification or specialist qualification in an area such as risk, finance, technology, or a related discipline.
