�� About the Role:As an Excavator Operator, you’ll be operating heavy machinery to assist in earthworks, site development, drainage, roading, and general civil works. You’ll be a vital member of the crew, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently. This is a full-time temporary role, with long-term opportunities for the right candidates.
�� Key Responsibilities:-
Operate machinery such as excavators (GPS experience a bonus), loaders, and rollers

Perform trenching, grading, backfilling, and land preparation

Work closely with site supervisors and other crew to meet project goals

Follow site plans, health & safety procedures, and daily machine inspections

Support with general labouring duties as required

Proven experience operating excavators on civil sites

Valid Class 2 licence (Class 4, WTR, and other endorsements a bonus)

Understanding of construction site safety protocols

Reliability, teamwork, and a good work ethic

Physical fitness and willingness to assist with manual work when required

$25–$35/hour based on experience + 8% holiday pay

Consistent work on large-scale Auckland projects
