This role is offered as a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of an ongoing position for the right candidate, subject to business needs.

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic, assertive, person-centric Administration Officer to join our fabulous Ulverstone-based NDIS Management team. This role is the backbone of our front office and a vital resource in supporting the business’ rostering team. Reporting to the Director of Operations ensures this role is constantly engaged in the progressive nature of our business, assisting in process improvements, coordination of all administrative demands while also assisting with the day-to-day rostering ‘juggles’.

 

About the Role

This is a varied and rewarding position which sees our Administration Officer play an important role in keeping our team organised and our day-to-day operations running smoothly.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reception & Operational Support - Act as the first point of contact for incoming calls, emails, visitors, and stakeholder enquiries, providing welcoming, professional and responsive customer service.
  • Service Administration - Provide day-to-day administrative support across Management team and operational and service delivery areas, responding swiftly to changing priorities while offering practical solutions.
  • Rostering Support - Provide support with rostering functions, including shift changes, communication, and system updates as directed.
  • Stakeholder Engagement - Build positive and professional relationships with participants, families, employees, and external stakeholders.
  • Service Quality, Reporting & Continuous Improvement - Ensure accurate and timely data entry within organisational systems. Support compliance with organisational policies, procedures, NDIS Practice Standards, and legislative requirements.
  • Work Health & Safety (WHS) - Promote and maintain a safe working environment.

  • Calm and solution-focused when unexpected changes arise.
  • Detail-oriented and reliable.
  • Comfortable working with rosters, schedules and administrative systems.
  • A team player who is willing to jump in and help wherever needed.
  • With previous administration and rostering experience and the right attitude and willingness to learn.

And an individual with:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
  • WWVP Card (or willing to obtain)
  • Proof of right to work in Australia (if required)
  • Former SCHADS experience is highly desirable but not essential
