Laser Machine Operator
Brannon Steel is looking for an experienced Laser Cutting Machine Operator to work at its Brampton manufacturing location on the afternoon shift. From $25.11 per hour and up PLUS up to $2 per hour in afternoon shift premiums.

Afternoon (3pm-11pm)

Duties
- Operate one or more laser cutting machines in a safe, efficient manner (i.e. setup, monitoring, troubleshooting).
- Perform basic machine maintenance (i.e. centering lens, changing consumables, emptying waste).
- Organize equipment and materials to minimize downtime.
- Perform material handling activities (i.e. locating material, loading/unloading machine) using an overhead crane or other material handling equipment.
- Complete all required documents in an accurate and timely manner.
- Complete assigned housekeeping activities and contribute to overall shop cleanliness and organization.
- Assist other Laser staff when work schedule permits.
- Comply with all applicable company policies, procedures, and practices.
- Comfortable with the use of computers.
- Overhead crane experience with valid record of training.
- Able to read and interpret nest plans and part drawings.
- Able to complete all required documents accurately clearly.
- Demonstrated safe work habits, commitment to quality, and attention to detail.

- Shift premiums up to $4 per hour on nights and $2 per hour on afternoons.
- Overtime after 40 hours per week.
