Executive Assistant – Directors / Fast Growth Travel Company
Are you an Executive Assistant who wants even more from your job? Looking to be part of a fast-paced, high-growth company?
Want to be recognised for everything you can achieve – and trusted with real responsibility, both in the business and, for the right person, beyond it?
We are the UK's leading travel homeworking company, one of the fastest-growing franchises in the UK, and we're based in Bournemouth.
We are looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant to become the right hand to our Directors – someone who takes real ownership of their time, their priorities, and (in part) their life outside the office too.

Executive Assistant to Directors
Bournemouth – Office based
£35,000 – £40,000 DOE + Great Benefits
Full Time – Permanent | 40 Hours Per Week
Company: Not Just Travel | The UK's Leading Travel Homeworking Company & One of the UK's Fastest-Growing Franchises
Your Background / Skills: Executive Assistant. Senior PA. Director Support. Diary & Inbox Management. Project Ownership. Meeting & Event Management. Personal Assistance. Senior Stakeholder Support.
Experience: Minimum 3 Years in a Similar EA or Senior PA Role
Role Info:
• You'll be an experienced EA who makes themselves invaluable – not by doing what you're told, but by knowing what needs doing before you're asked. You'll take charge, make things happen, and be trusted with real judgement calls.
• You'll directly support the Directors of the business and other key senior team members
• Roughly 80% of your time will be spent on EA duties – proactive gatekeeping, project ownership, meeting management, and reducing the Directors' workload
• The remaining c.20% will be dedicated personal support to a Director – practical life admin and logistics, for example house-hunting, personal appointments, or other time-consuming personal tasks that take a Director away from running the business
• You will have a diverse range of tasks from meeting preparation and reports, to event management, to personal life admin
• Based at our Bournemouth offices near Bournemouth airport
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar EA or senior PA role
• Excellent rewards for the right person

We are based in Bournemouth, but we have team members home-based across the UK.
Reasons to Join Us
• You want to grow, develop, and have the opportunity to shine
• Great career prospects to move into many different roles within the business
• Genuine variety and the opportunity to have real impact — on the business, and on the person you support
• We are one of the fastest-growing travel companies (need we say more!)
• 'Home Working Agency of The Year' 5 years running
• Top 5 of all homeworking companies in the UK (travel)
• Top 10 franchise in the UK
• We are expecting the next 2–3 years in travel to be the biggest ever in terms of growth
• Featured continually in trade press and national press
About You:
You should have a genuine passion for being an Executive Assistant that shines through in everything you do – plus an excitement for working within travel and helping others. Results and attention to detail should be second nature, and you'll have the knack of second-guessing what the senior team needs before they've asked.
You'll be calm under pressure, discreet with sensitive information (business and personal), love fast pace and change – and you'll genuinely enjoy being trusted with things that matter, both inside and outside the office.
A year from now, you will have had a great year if:
• You've measurably reduced the workload of key senior team members
• You've made meetings more efficient and effective
• You've removed bottlenecks in communication and work
• You've taken real, time-consuming personal tasks off a Director's plate and seen them through properly
• The senior team trust you with judgement calls, not just tasks
The Role – EA Responsibilities (c.80%):
• Complex diary and inbox management for multiple senior people, with the judgement to prioritise, filter, and act on their behalf within agreed limits
• Acting as a first point of contact and gatekeeper — protecting Directors' time and attention
• Attending key meetings, taking minutes, and making things happen after meetings — chasing actions, not just recording them
• Preparing presentations, reports, and board/investor-ready materials
• Project managing initiatives end-to-end to reduce senior team workload
• Event organisation, from internal team events to external/trade events
• Research and analysis to support decisions
• Supporting the onboarding of new team members (credit/reference checks, contracts, documenting process)
• Representing a Director in meetings or communications when required
• Excellent organisational and communication skills, professional and pleasant manner
• Very high attention to detail
The Role – Personal Support (c.20%):
• Practical, time-consuming personal life admin and logistics for a Director — for example house-hunting and moving, personal appointments, or other tasks that would otherwise eat into time running the business
• Scope and priorities agreed directly with the Director, and expected to change over time as personal circumstances do
• Full discretion and confidentiality with personal information, exactly as you'd apply to business information
What Success Looks Like & How We'll Work Together:
• You'll have a direct line to the Director(s) you support and will be briefed verbally on priorities, not just by email – email is not a to-do list here, so we'll make sure you're never chasing an inbox for direction
• You'll be given clear decision-making boundaries: what you can decide and act on yourself, and what needs a quick check-in first – so you're empowered, not guessing
• Regular short briefings rather than long, infrequent meetings
The Reward for You:
As one of the UK's fastest-growing travel and franchise companies, the opportunities for you to grow your role and responsibilities are endless. We're looking for team members who are ambitious and want to develop further – including, for the right person, a future path toward a Chief of Staff-style role as the business scales.

Hours
Full-time, equivalent to 40 hours per week.
Additional hours may be required to support senior managers whilst at overseas events, and you may be required to attend these events for further support. Ability to travel to UK-based 'out of office' meetings and events is required; travel to overseas events is not required but is desirable. Occasional out-of-hours support is not unreasonable, limited to covering time zone differences while senior managers are travelling.
