
Meat and Seafood Clerk
At Pete's Frootique & Fine Foods, we're passionate about providing our customers with the freshest, highest-quality products and exceptional service. As a Meat & Seafood Clerk, you'll play an important role in creating an outstanding shopping experience by delivering knowledgeable, friendly service and maintaining an inviting, well-stocked department.
What You'll Do
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product selection and answering questions.
- Slice, cut, weigh, package, label, and price meat and seafood products accurately and efficiently.
- Create attractive, fully stocked displays that showcase the quality and freshness of our products.
- Ensure all products meet Pete's high standards for food safety, quality, and presentation.
- Share product knowledge with customers, including cooking tips and preparation suggestions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Support your team with daily department operations and other duties as required.
- A positive, enthusiastic attitude and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
- A genuine interest in quality food and helping customers find the right products.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A willingness to learn new skills and grow within the department.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
