Massage therapist
Manual Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate female Massage Therapist to join our dynamic team. Commission based £20-£40 per hour.
As a Massage Therapist at Manual Therapy, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our female clients to provide personalised therapeutic massage treatments designed to alleviate pain, reduce stress, and improve overall physical well-being. Our ideal candidate is a female therapist who is passionate about helping others, possesses strong communication skills, and has a deep understanding of various massage techniques including lymphatic drainage, pregnancy massage, deep tissue. You will play a crucial role in assessing clients' needs, developing individualised treatment plans, and delivering high-quality care in a professional and welcoming environment. This role requires not only technical expertise but also a genuine commitment to client satisfaction and wellness. Responsibilities
- Conduct client assessments to determine their individual therapeutic needs.
- Develop customized treatment plans based on client evaluations and goals.
- Perform various massage techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, and trigger point therapy.
- Maintain accurate client records and document progress after each session.
- Educate clients on self-care, stretches, and exercises to enhance treatment outcomes.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all clients.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to provide comprehensive care.
- Stay updated with new massage therapy techniques and industry best practices.
- Valid certification or license as a massage therapist from an accredited institution.
- Proven experience providing professional massage therapy services.
- In-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various massage techniques.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with clients.
- Ability to customize treatments to meet individual client needs and preferences.
- Professionalism and adherence to ethical standards and confidentiality policies.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform massage techniques for extended periods.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and training.
