Role Overview:

As a Cleaning Operative with ABM UK, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various client sites to the highest standard. This role demands a keen eye for detail, a commitment to health and safety, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a wider team.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and wiping surfaces.
Clean and sanitize toilets, kitchens, and communal areas, ensuring restocking of consumables.
Dispose of waste in accordance with recycling and health and safety guidelines.
Operate cleaning equipment responsibly and maintain them in good working order.
Report any issues or maintenance needs to supervisors promptly.
Adhere strictly to health and safety policies and procedures.

Previous experience in cleaning preferred but full training provided.
Ability to work flexibly across different shifts.
Good attention to detail and strong work ethic.
Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks efficiently.
Basic understanding of health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Reliable and punctual with strong communication skills.
