Field Service Technician – Agricultural (Gisborne)
Are you handy with hydraulics, smarter than your average combine and not afraid of a bit of mud? Great news - we’re on the hunt for a Field Service Technician to join one of New Zealand’s leading agricultural service companies (yes, the big one).
Our client is a national business with an awesome reputation and a passion for keeping farmers moving - literally. They look after a massive range of ag machinery, and now they need another expert to keep the gears turning in Gisborne and the surrounding region.

Your day-to-day might include:
- Driving out to farms and getting machinery back up and running
- Diagnosing and repairing a wide range of ag equipment & machinery
- Carrying out scheduled servicing - yes, preventative maintenance is a thing
- Providing friendly advice and building solid relationships with customers
- Keeping your technical knowledge up to date
What we’re looking for:
- Qualified Heavy Diesel or Agricultural Technician (or similar trade)
- Strong mechanical/electrical diagnostic skills
- Can communicate professionally with customers
- Experience working on tractors, harvesters, balers or similar equipment
- Someone who can work independently and still play nicely with others
- A clean driver’s licence
