You will have access to: + Career development with an international company where you can grow the career you dream of. + A company recognized as a great place to work in dozens of countries around the world and named one of the most admired companies in the world by Fortune. + A company that is recognized as one of the best big companies to work for as well as a best place to work for diversity, working mothers, female executives, and scientists. **The Opportunity:** + Ensuring the stability, availability, and performance of IT systems and applications through proactive monitoring, issue resolution, and ongoing maintenance. + The role supports business operations by managing system upgrades, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and delivering reliable IT solutions that meet organizational needs. + It also contributes to the successful delivery of IT projects, effective coordination across technical teams, and consistent communication with stakeholders, while maintaining a strong focus on service quality and operational efficiency. **What You'll Do:** + Monitor and maintain systems, ensuring timely resolution of issues. + Analyze software and hardware problems and coordinate effective, practical solutions. + Perform system software upgrades, including planning, scheduling, testing, and coordination. + Ensure availability and reliability of systems and application environments through proactive and reactive maintenance. + Ensure adherence to corporate and divisional policies, standards, and procedures. + Ensure compliance with all relevant governmental and regulatory requirements. + Ensure IT applications effectively meet organizational needs. + Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and external stakeholders on matters related to IT applications. + Demonstrate punctuality and reliability in meeting deadlines and work schedules. + Work effectively in a team environment that includes both infrastructure and application specialists. + Successfully execute IT projects deployed locally or initiated by corporate groups. + Maintain strong awareness and appreciation of internal and external customer needs. + Demonstrate the ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision. + Provide IT technical expertise and collaborate with various site functions, including Engineering and Manufacturing Operations. + Perform detailed operational analysis of data collection systems and control software. + Prepare testing and validation documentation, including the execution of hardware and installation activities for manufacturing systems where applicable. + Lead the development and management of external vendor technical resources to support solution implementation and ongoing maintenance. + Investigate and troubleshoot control systems to optimize operational performance. + Communicate regularly with project teams, providing updates, reports, and project evaluations. + Conduct technical training sessions for internal and external users across various systems. + Lead design reviews to ensure solutions meet operational requirements. + Ensure testing and change control activities comply with corporate policies and standards. + Oversee integration of hardware, software, communication protocols, and user interfaces to ensure seamless system operation. **Requirements:** + Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline + Minimum 3 years of experience in similar position + Understanding of GAMP 5 or SQA (Software Quality Assurance) or equivalent knowledge + Excellent communication skills include the ability to translate technical information into basic understanding, and the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with a diversity of people at an individual and team level. + Excellent attention to detail + Demonstrates strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills + Experience in manufacturing industry preferred **Location** This position is based in **Waikato District > Pokeno** .
