CAD Draughtsman
Must have the right to work in New Zealand to apply.
About the role:
You'll be responsible for producing detailed shop drawings and fabrication plans for a range of projects, including:
- Architectural facades
- Handrails and balustrades
- Custom stainless steel and sheet metal fabrications
- Structural steelwork detailing where required
You'll work closely with the workshop and installation teams to ensure designs translate accurately from concept through to fabrication and on-site install, so a good understanding of manufacturing and installation tolerances is important.
What you'll need:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor (essential)
- Solid understanding of sheet metal and stainless steel fabrication processes
- Experience detailing facades, handrails, or balustrades (highly regarded)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce fabrication-ready drawings
- Good communication skills to liaise with fabricators, welders, and installers
- Legal right to work in New Zealand
