The Opportunity |Te kōwhiringa

As a Cyclic Lead for one of the largest infrastructure business’ in New Zealand, you will lead and manage a cyclic crew as well as supporting other operations to ensure the delivery of a high-quality roading network. This is a full time, permanent role based in Mokau.

You will also:

• Patrol designated roads on a regular basis
• Identify and repair faults, such as potholes, edge marker post replacement and blocked drainage structures
• Risk assess and setup safe sites for your crew and the general public
• Provide training and development for staff
• Ensure efficient use of materials, supplies and equipment
• Work as part of a cohesive team to deliver road maintenance activities

Along with a positive attitude and a commitment to safe workplace practices, we are looking for you to have:

• Full Class 2 New Zealand Drivers Licence required
• Traffic Management Qualification or experience is beneficial
• Experience leading and supervising crews
• A can-do attitude with a good work ethic
• Demonstrated that you are reliable and dependable
• Be able to identify and repair faults
• Show good initiative and be confident in decision-making and problem-solving
• Ability to perform on-call duties as part of our emergency response requirements
• Ability to record completed activities on an electronic device (RAMM / AWM)
