
Mower Operator (Premier Parks)

To support our mission, we're seeking a Mower Operator specifically for our Premier Parks.
What You’ll Do:
As a Mower Operator (Premier Parks), you'll be responsible for the scheduled mowing of various parks across the Queenstown Lakes District. The role includes:
- Regular mowing and maintaining of Premier parks across the Queenstown Lakes District to ensure optimal, high quality grass care
- Performing weed eating, edging, and general maintenance upkeep to keep all areas looking pristine
- Conducting routine maintenance on equipment to ensure it remains in excellent working condition
- Ongoing care of parks to meet the highest standards of presentation and client specifications
Who We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for experienced mower operators with a strong work ethic and a passion for maintaining green spaces. Ideal candidates will have:
- A solid track record of experience working in outdoor space maintenance including working with small plant and ride-on mowers
- Able to competently and safely operate commercial ride on mowers and lawn maintenance related machinery including carrying out basic level maintenance
- A full, current driver’s licence with manual driving capability being essential (Class 2 is also favourable)
- Physical fitness for the demands of parks maintenance and mower operator duties
- Basic computer skills for logging equipment maintenance and reporting tasks
- Commitment to our Green by Nature Health and Safety policies
- A positive, can do attitude with a willingness to learn and grow

- A performance-based remuneration ($28 - $34 per hour) based on experience that is reviewed annually
- Guaranteed 32 hours work per week with the possibility of additional hours based on operational demands
