Finance Billing Administrator

Job Description Summary

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Billing Administrator to join our dynamic Finance and Billing team. This role is key to ensuring accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices, consumables, material costs, and client billing. You’ll play a vital part in supporting financial targets and profitability through efficient billing operations.

Job Description

What You’ll Do

  • Process supplier invoices and update Accounts Payable systems.
  • Manage billing activities across multiple national clients, tailoring processes to meet client-specific requirements.
  • Receipt consumables and materials onto work orders; review labour costs and escalate exceptions.
  • Prepare draft invoices, credit notes, and billing adjustments.
  • Monitor and manage WIP in line with business KPIs.
  • Resolve outstanding queries promptly and accurately.
  • Ensure accurate JDE input/output and support process improvements.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2 - 3 years experience in a similar Billing, Finance administration role etc
  • Diploma or degree in Finance (recent graduates welcome) would be advantageous but not essential – we value relevant experience moreso!
  • Understanding of Finance principles & strong Excel skills are a must
  • Accounts Receivable experience (billing, POs, inward receipting)
  • Familiarity with JDE, Wisetrends, Smartsheets would be advantageous; Power BI experience is a plus
  • Can-do attitude, strong attention to detail, and ability to adapt to different client requirements
  • Excellent communication skills & ability to build relationships – bubbly, energetic, and collaborative
