
TDC Maintenance Administrator
Mō te tūranga | About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Administrator to join our Maintenance team in Timaru, supporting the day-to-day delivery of essential roading maintenance work with accuracy, organisation, and a strong eye for detail.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being the go-to person behind the scenes, keeping systems current, supporting operational teams, and making sure important information is captured properly the first time. You’ll play a key part in the successful running of the department, with a strong focus on RAMM, contract administration, and helping the team deliver safe, quality work for our client and community.
Strong computer literacy, attention to detail, and confidence working across changing priorities are also important.
Ngā tino kawenga mahi | Key role responsibilities
- Log and coordinate RAMM data collection to ensure accuracy
- Enter and maintain data including cyclic crew items, dayworks, site instructions, auditing results and contract job set-ups.
- Complete day-to-day administrative support for the Maintenance department to help keep work programmes on track.
- Share relevant contract and operational information with the team and support follow-through on action items.
- Support a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement in everything you do.

- Previous experience in an administration role, ideally in maintenance, roading, civil, or construction.
- Proven RAMM software experience and confidence using it as part of day-to-day contract support.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel, with the ability to learn job-related systems quickly.
- Excellent planning, organisation, and attention to detail, with the ability to manage changing priorities calmly.
- A practical, team-focused approach, strong interpersonal skills, and a genuine commitment to safety, quality, and doing good work.
