The Student Health Service is seeking an experienced and highly organised Practice Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of our busy multidisciplinary health service.
Working closely with the Practice Manager, you'll coordinate administrative workflows, manage clinical rosters and appointment scheduling, provide first-line IT support for clinical systems, oversee financial and procurement processes, and support recruitment and onboarding activities. You'll play a key role in ensuring our administrative functions operate efficiently while delivering an outstanding experience for students accessing our services.
This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, solving problems, supporting colleagues and continuously improving systems and processes.
Salary will be in the range of $73,235 to $87,024 per annum based on skills, knowledge and experience brought to the position. This is a full-time role (37.5 hours a week), based on our Hillcrest Campus.

Ko wai koe? – Who are you?
You'll bring significant experience in health administration, ideally within a general practice or primary healthcare environment, along with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
You'll also have:
A Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent (Bachelor's degree desirable).
Experience using Indici or a comparable patient management system.
A strong understanding of general practice administration and medical terminology.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills and confidence learning new technologies.
Experience supporting staff with clinical systems and basic IT troubleshooting.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to confidentiality.
A collaborative approach and a genuine commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
An understanding of privacy, health and safety, and quality standards within a healthcare environment.
