We are currently looking for a Line Mechanic to join our team in Tauranga. This is a permanent full-time role minimum 40 hours a week, with guaranteed fortnightly pay in a stable and supportive environment.

What you'll do:

  • Providing dedicated line construction services, installing new equipment and services to both overhead lines and underground cables.
  • Repair and restore fault damaged lines, cables and equipment.
  • Work with a team to ensure projects are completed on time and to budget.
  • Be fully focused on Health & Safety.
  • Complete documentation relevant to the performance of duties.

This is a great opportunity if you:

  • Are an EWRB registered Line Mechanic, with at least 2 years' experience as a Line mechanic.
  • Are a motivated, hardworking individual with a positive attitude.
  • Hot stick / G&B certified, although this is not a must.
  • Have a calm disposition and you are a team player.

Interview and Selection Process:

  • Successful applicants will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical assessment (including drug and alcohol test) and physical assessment.
