This position reports to:

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to assist the Quality team in implementing and maintaining a quality system, including conducting audits, establishing controls, training on tools and methodologies. Each day, you will support activities related to quality management within the organizational unit. You will also showcase your expertise by reporting quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and customer cases and maintaining process documentation.

The work model for the role is: Onsite #LI-Onsite

This role is contributing to the Quality Division of Medium Voltage Switch Gear Business in New Zealand. Main stakeholders are Production, Engineering, Warehouse, and Supply Chain Management. You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Supports all activities related to quality management system within local organizational unit.
  • Executes and assists the local organization with quality content, tools, and systems.
  • Supports quality assurance activities in collaboration with local Production, Engineering, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Reports quality issues data, ensuring adherence to quality management system at all stages.
  • Acquires and reports quality metrics and KPIs accurately and in a timely manner to facilitate the analysis and management of local processes.
  • Utilizes measurement systems to produce data that reflect the accurate characteristics of materials, products, systems, and processes.
  • Performs assigned tasks in a safe manner, setting an example for others to exercise safety in their daily activities.
  • Provides feedback to all functional teams based on inputs from their internal and external customers, promoting alignment between process output and customer expectations.
  • Any other task assigned by Manager related to Quality Management System.

Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or Industrial Manufacturing
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in quality control and assurance
  • Demonstrated experience in quality inspection, measuring equipment operations, and maintaining inspection logs.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Quality Management Systems and ISO 9001:2015 standard
  • You are passionate about problem-solving, collaboration, and process improvement
  • Attention to detail and precision along with excellent communication skills
  • You demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively alone and in a team environment
