We are currently seeking experienced Concrete / Steel fixers / Boxing wokers to join one of Hawke's Bay civil construction companies. You will play a key role in delivering high‑quality concrete works across residential, and commercial projects throughout Hawke’s Bay.
Your Role
- Preparing sites for concrete works, including base preparation, formwork, reinforcing, trenching, and drainage support.
- Placing, spreading, levelling, and finishing concrete for slabs, footpaths, foundations, and structural elements.
- Interpreting basic plans, ensuring correct levels, falls, and quality standards during pours.
- Operating concrete tools and equipment such as troweling machines, screeds, and finishing tools.
- Working as part of a tight‑knit crew to complete pours safely, efficiently, and to high finish standards.
- Maintaining safe worksites, following all HSE instructions, and assisting with site setup and clean-down.
- Experience steel fixing
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in concrete placing, finishing, or general concrete construction.
- Experience with formwork, reinforcing, or precast preparation is an advantage.
- Physically fit and comfortable with hands‑on, outdoor work in a civil environment.
- Reliability, great teamwork skills, and strong communication on site.
- Eligibility to work in New Zealand.
- Must be able to pass a drug & alcohol test.
- Clean MOJ
