We’re looking for a Civil Carpenter to join our team in Central Otago. This is hands-on, meaningful work where you’ll help build and maintain the infrastructure our communities rely on every day.

You’ll be part of a crew that backs each other, works side by side, and takes pride in doing Good Work. Ngā tino kawenga mahi | Key role responsibilities

  • Carry out civil carpentry work across a range of construction and infrastructure projects.

  • Build, install, repair, and maintain formwork, boxing, retaining structures, and other timber or concrete-related elements.

  • Read and ork from plans, specifications, and site instructions to deliver quality outcomes.

  • Work safely and contribute to a strong health, safety, and wellbeing culture on site.

  • Support the wider crew with day-to-day site activities and help keep projects moving.

  • Experience in civil carpentry, construction, or a closely related field.

  • A Practical, hands-on approach and the ability to carry out the inherent requirements of the role.

  • Confidence Working outdoors in varying weather conditions and on active construction sites.

  • A Team-focused attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to quality.

  • A Full Class 1 licence, with additional licences, endorsements, or relevant tickets being an advantage.
