Project Manager - Civil Construction
Mō te tūranga | About the role
We’re busy having won long-term contracts! We’re looking for a Project Manager to take ownership of civil construction delivery from early planning through to close-out. You’ll lead programmes, budgets, contracts and on-site coordination, while building strong relationships with clients, crews and delivery partners.
This role suits someone who can keep multiple moving parts aligned, make sound calls under pressure, and bring a practical, no-fuss approach to getting the job done right.
Ngā tino kawenga mahi | Key role responsibilities
- Lead project planning, scheduling and delivery to meet programme, cost and quality targets.
- Manage subcontractors, resources, procurement and site coordination across active works.
- Oversee budgets, forecasting, cost control, progress claims and commercial reporting.
- Build strong working relationships with clients, stakeholders and internal teams.
- Lead project teams with clear direction, accountability and a strong delivery mindset.

- At least 5 years’ experience in roading or civil infrastructure including some NZ project experience
- Demonstrated leadership across Construction, 3 Waters, Roading or other major Civil works.
- A Civil Engineering diploma or degree, and or several years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong communication skills, with confidence in presenting, reporting and negotiating.
- Financial know-how, attention to detail, and working knowledge of CCS Candy software a huge advantage.
- These are minimum requirements, ideally, someone who may know how we work already is a huge benefit.
