Studio Operations and Technology Lead
Karo Healthcare, a dynamic and growing personal-care retail company, is all about making smart choices for everyday healthcare. With a wide-ranging portfolio across seven categories including medical products, we own and sell over 80 brands in about 90 countries. Our portfolio includes such brands as E45, Pevaryl, Lamisil, Nutravita, Decubal and many others. Our core belief in empowering people to make intelligent health decisions drives our growth strategy, blending organic expansion and M&A.
Join us at Karo Healthcare on our exciting journey. We're currently looking for a Studio Operations & Technology Lead for our office in Maidenhead.
What’s in it for you?
This is an opportunity to sit at the heart of our creative operations and make a visible impact on how our studios work, scale and deliver. You’ll combine operations, technology, data and commercial thinking to build smarter ways of working across an international business — with the freedom to challenge, improve and make things happen.
If you thrive in fast-moving environments, enjoy turning complexity into simple solutions and want to help shape the future of creative operations, this could be your next move.
What you’ll be doing
- Own and continuously improve studio operations, workflows and delivery processes, removing friction and enabling teams to deliver at speed and scale.
- Lead our central shared resource pool, primarily external freelancers, ensuring the right skills can be deployed quickly, flexibly and cost-effectively.
- Own and develop the studio technology ecosystem, including Asana, DAM systems, Dropbox and approved file-storage solutions.
- Drive adoption of scalable technology, automation and AI, identifying opportunities to make creative operations smarter and more efficient.
- Own studio performance data, reporting and dashboards, creating clear visibility of output, productivity, cost and resource utilisation.
- Turn operational data into decision-ready insights that support Value Creation Plans (VCPs), optimisation and financial reporting.
- Own key commercial controls across freelance contracts, rate cards, POs and invoicing, maintaining spend visibility and strong governance.
- Ensure appropriate studio, equipment and professional insurance standards are maintained.
- Act as the escalation point for operational, commercial, technology and data risks.
- Play an active role in the Creative Leadership Team, bringing an operations, technology and data perspective to key decisions.
- Strong experience in operations, studio operations, creative operations, production operations or a similar fast-paced environment — experience from FMCG or another high-volume consumer business is highly relevant.
- A hands-on mindset with the ability to move between strategic thinking and getting things done.
- Experience improving workflows, processes and ways of working across multiple teams or stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of technology-enabled operations, with experience using workflow/project management and digital asset management tools.
- Curiosity and confidence around automation, AI and emerging technologies and how they can improve operational performance.
- Commercial mindset with experience managing budgets, external resources, suppliers, contracts or related controls.
- Comfortable working with data, KPIs, reporting and dashboards to support business decisions.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working with senior and cross-functional teams.
- Able to thrive in an international, entrepreneurial and rapidly evolving organisation.
- Opportunity to create, grow, and encourage
- Apart from a competitive salary pack, there are lots of growth opportunities to meet your personal ambitions
- Flexible schedule and life work balance
- Responsibility for exciting and challenging projects that have a direct, visible impact on our customers and the industry
- Very positive work environment in a young, international, and motivated team
- Start-up spirit while being a part of the large international organization with strong values
