Data Analyst
You'll make sure the numbers the business runs on are right. Every team here leans on our reporting to make decisions, and this role owns the reliability of it. You'll run the reporting that stakeholders across the business depend on, spot the discrepancies early and get them fixed properly. Good decisions start with data people trust. That applies to every department, so that's where your focus will be.
What you'll be doing
• Own the daily, weekly and monthly reporting cycle across brands, channels and territories — delivered on time, reconciled, with movements explained.
• Help get data into the data warehouse and into a usable shape: onboard new sources and connectors, check feeds land as expected, and build the logic that turns raw tables into models the business can report from.
• Validate data across our commerce, ERP and analytics platforms, working variances back to root cause and resolving them with the teams who own the source.
• Play a hands-on part in system migrations — mapping data between old and new platforms, testing it comes through correctly, running systems in parallel to reconcile, and keeping reporting stable throughout.
• Keep the logic behind our measurement and attribution accurate and consistent, from tracking and tagging through to how costs and revenue get assigned.
• Maintain and extend our self-serve reporting tools so stakeholders can answer their own questions, acting as first line of support when a number looks wrong.
• Document definitions, build automated validation checks, and use AI tooling to take the manual work out of reporting and reconciliation.
Skills, knowledge & expertise
• Experience in a reporting, data quality, BI or analytics role, ideally in beauty, retail, ecommerce or DTC.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas.
• Working SQL — comfortable querying a data warehouse to trace a number back to source, joining across tables to find where it broke, and writing the transformation logic on top.
• Some exposure to how data moves from a source system into a warehouse (connectors, scheduled loads, layered models) — you don't need to have owned a pipeline end to end, but you should understand what breaks and why.
• Comfortable using AI day to day and keen to get better at it — we use it heavily to speed up analysis and automate the repetitive parts of reporting.
• Rigorous, with an instinct for when a figure looks off and the patience to trace why — you fix the cause, not the symptom.
• A clear communicator, able to explain a data issue and its commercial impact without drowning people in detail, and happy to chase the people who need to act.
• A self-starter who can hold a BAU reporting calendar together while absorbing ad hoc investigations — migration work tends to land on top of BAU rather than instead of it.
Nice to have: exposure to modern data warehouse and BI tooling, and experience of a system migration or re-platform. Willingness to learn matters more than prior exposure.
