Lead Video Producer & Editor

London-ish / Flexible / Travel Required

KK is looking for a Lead Video Producer & Editor to take ownership of video content across our world.

This isn't a role for someone who just wants to sit behind an editing desk.

We're looking for someone who can work both sides of the lens. Someone who can take an idea, turn it into a production, pick up a camera and shoot it, work with talent, organise the right freelancers, and then get hands-on in the edit to bring the whole thing to life.

You need to be a maker and a doer.

We're a fast-moving team with ambitious plans for video. From social-first content and promotional campaigns through to events, international travel and our own KK style reality formats, we want someone who can help us build the next stage of KK through video.

The Role

You'll become the hands-on lead for video content across KK.

One day you might be shooting quick-turnaround social content. The next you could be producing a campaign film, capturing one of our events, travelling internationally with the team, or working as part of the production team on a longer-form reality series.

You'll be involved from the initial idea right through to the finished content.

That means concepting, planning, producing, shooting, directing, editing and delivering.

For larger productions, you'll also know when you need additional expertise and be able to bring together and manage the right freelance crew around you.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Creating and developing original video concepts for KK
  • Producing social-first content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and other platforms
  • Shooting and editing promotional films and campaigns
  • Creating paid social and performance-focused video creative
  • Capturing KK parties, experiences, cruises, retreats and international events
  • Producing interviews, member stories and behind-the-scenes content
  • Working as part of the production team on our "MAFS"-style reality and entertainment formats
  • Taking projects from an initial idea through pre-production, shoot and post-production
  • Directing contributors, talent and crew on shoots
  • Personally operating cameras and capturing content when required
  • Editing your own work and taking responsibility for the finished product
  • Building and managing a trusted network of freelance camera operators, editors, sound, lighting and other production specialists
  • Briefing freelancers and making sure productions are delivered on time and to the standard we expect
  • Understanding how content performs and using those insights to make the next piece better
  • Spotting opportunities for content that other people might miss
  • Helping us develop a distinctive visual identity and style for KK video

The KK World

KK isn't a conventional brand, and this isn't a conventional video role.

We create luxury experiences across events, travel, community, entertainment and lifestyle. Our world can take you from a London event one week to an international cruise, retreat or production the next.

We're an adult, open-minded brand, so you need to be completely comfortable working professionally within the KK environment and capturing it in a way that feels premium, authentic and true to who we are.

We're increasingly moving into entertainment and original formats, including social and YouTube-first reality content following real people and their journeys into the KK world.

You'll be part of the team helping us work out what that looks like.

Location & Travel

We're looking for someone London-ish, but we're flexible about exactly where you're based.

This isn't a five-days-a-week-at-a-desk role.

There will be flexibility and remote working, but you need to be able to get to shoots and events and be prepared to travel within the UK and internationally when productions require it.

The Opportunity

This is a chance to take a leading creative role inside a brand with a huge amount of stories still to tell.

We're not looking for someone to inherit a rigid video department and follow an existing formula.

We're looking for someone who wants to help build it.

Someone who sees what KK is doing and immediately starts thinking:

"I know how I'd shoot that."

If that's you, we want to see what you've made.

Apply with your CV, showreel/portfolio and examples of work you personally shot, produced or edited.

And tell us what you would do with KK.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone mid-to-senior level, but above everything else, you must still be hands-on.

You should have real experience behind you and a portfolio that demonstrates what you can actually create.

You'll ideally have experience across a mixture of:

Social-first content. Brand and promotional films. Paid advertising. Events. Interviews. Documentary, reality or longer-form storytelling.

You don't necessarily need to have done all of them, but you need to demonstrate the creative and technical ability to move between different types of production.

We're not particularly interested in which editing software you use.

We're interested in what you can make.

You should understand cameras, sound, lighting, editing and post-production well enough to personally create great work, while also having the production experience to know when and how to bring other specialists into a project.

You'll also understand the difference between simply making something that looks beautiful and making content that people actually stop, watch, share, click and engage with.

You Need To Be

Creative. We don't want someone waiting for a brief every morning. We want ideas from you.

Hands-on. You're equally comfortable developing the concept, organising the shoot, holding the camera and sitting in the edit.

A producer. You make things happen. Locations, people, schedules, freelancers, equipment and logistics don't intimidate you.

Social-first. You understand how people consume content now and how storytelling changes between TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, paid social and longer-form content.

Collaborative. You'll work with our internal team, external creatives, contributors, members, talent and production partners.

Commercially aware. You understand that ultimately our content needs to build the brand, grow our audience and drive people into the KK world.

Fast. Sometimes we need beautifully planned productions. Sometimes something happened last night and it needs to be online today.
