Project Manager - Whenuapai
Join us in the role of Project Manager, Whenuapai Air Base to support the environments that enable NZDF personnel to focus on protecting and serving New Zealand communities.
RNZAF Base Auckland RNZAF Base Auckland is located in Whenuapai, northwest of Auckland, and is the northernmost operational Air Force base, positioned on the upper western reaches of the Waitematā Harbour.

What You’ll Be Doing | Ngā Kawenga Takohanga
Providing expert project management and coordination services across the site.
Administering construction contracts including NZS 3910, NZS 3916 and NZS 3915 in accordance with contractual obligations.
Managing all project budgets, cost control, forecasting and financial reporting.
Ensuring project compliance with health, safety, quality and environmental management standards.
Coordinating engagement with design teams, consultants and specialist providers.
Maintaining project documentation, reporting and governance records in line with contract requirements.
Positively managing relationships with all NZDF stakeholders, suppliers and partners.
What We’re Looking For| Ā Mātou e Rapu Ana:
5+ Years experience coordinating or delivering projects in property, construction, or infrastructure environments.
Experience supporting budgets, cost tracking, or financial management within projects.
Experience working with internal stakeholders and external consultants or contractors
Relevant qualification or equivalent experience in project management, construction, property, or infrastructure delivery.
Absolute alignment with Citycare Property values.
The legal right to work in Aotearoa, ability to pass a drug and alcohol test and willingness to consent to a Criminal Record Check
Ability to meet the NZDF special security requirements.
