Meat Process Worker
We are currently seeking skilled and motivated processing staff for our meat production client in Karaka
Work Schedule
- Start time varies between 6:30 - 8:30am depending on department
- Typical shift is 8 hours
- Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: $24.50ph
About the Role
This is a hands on position working within a meat works environment; handling both live and processed chicken.
Main Responsibilities
- Working in the packing area handling whole birds
- Packing birds into bags and cartons
- Or operating and monitoring machinery (including box‑folding machines)
- Counting products accurately and maintaining attention to detail
- Working in the hanging bay handling live birds
- Handling live chickens from crates before processing
- Cleaning work areas safely and thoroughly daily
- Work with both live and processed chicken products
To be successful and considered for this position:
- Must be comfortable working in food production environments and handling live chickens
- Physically Fit
- Be able to provide 2 x work related references
- Pass Pre-Employment screening (Drug Test, ACC and Criminal Background Check)
