Business Development Executive

£27,000 - £33,000 DOE + Uncapped Commission-Office Based | Nottingham

Help Care Providers Overcome Their Biggest Challenges

At Delphi Care Solutions, we work with care providers across the UK to improve quality, achieve compliance, overcome operational challenges, and deliver better outcomes for the people they support.

This isn't a high-volume, hard-sales environment. Our clients come to us because they need help. Whether they're preparing for a CQC inspection, improving service quality, navigating compliance challenges, or turning around an underperforming service, we provide practical support that makes a real difference.

We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, creating opportunities, and having meaningful conversations with people. If you're motivated, commercially minded, and want to be part of a growing business with a strong reputation in the sector, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

As a Business Development Executive, you'll be responsible for identifying and engaging with care providers that may benefit from Delphi's specialist services.

You'll be speaking with owners, directors, registered managers, and senior leaders across the care sector, taking the time to understand their challenges and introducing solutions that can genuinely help.

This is a consultative business development role where trust, credibility, and relationship-building are far more important than a scripted sales pitch.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Generating new business opportunities through telephone outreach, email, LinkedIn, and networking.
  • Building relationships with care providers across the UK.
  • Identifying organisations that could benefit from services such as:
    • Mock CQC inspections and compliance audits
    • Turnaround and improvement support
    • Regulatory and registration support
    • Quality assurance services
    • Operational improvement programmes
    • Recruitment and strategic growth solutions
  • Arranging consultations and meetings with prospective clients.
  • Managing and developing a pipeline of opportunities through our CRM system.
  • Following up enquiries, quotations, and proposals.
  • Working closely with colleagues to convert opportunities into long-term client relationships.
  • Achieving agreed business development and activity targets.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in business development, sales, account management, or a similar client-facing role.
  • Experience generating and developing B2B opportunities.
  • Confidence speaking with senior decision-makers.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience using CRM systems and managing a pipeline of opportunities.
  • A proactive, organised, and target-driven approach.
  • The ability to open conversations, build trust, and identify genuine client needs.

Experience within health and social care would be an advantage, but it is not essential. We can teach you our sector. What matters most is your ability to communicate, build relationships, and identify opportunities.

Why Join Delphi?

Delphi Care Solutions is the first consultancy accredited under the Care Consultancy Accreditation Framework (C-CAF). Our multidisciplinary team includes former CQC Inspectors, Registered Managers, clinicians, and sector specialists with more than 300 years of combined experience.

As our business continues to grow, this is an opportunity to become part of a respected organisation with genuine ambitions for the future.

We Offer

  • £27,000 - £33,000 basic salary, depending on experience
  • Uncapped commission
  • Full training on our services and the care sector
  • Genuine career progression opportunities
  • Ongoing support from one of the most experienced consultancy teams in the sector
  • A professional and supportive working environment
  • The opportunity to make a genuine difference to the quality of care delivered across the UK
